I saw Wye Oak @ Kilby Court last night.
It was amazing.
I was sitting front row on a plastic box full of audio cables with the beautiful lead singer towering above me. I soaked up every little detail...the interplay between both band members, the cues, the feeding off of each other, the foot work, her fingers working that guitar magic.
Best show I have been to in a while.
Super intimate.
And I got to meet her afterwards (thanks to some encouragement from Ebay).
I love finding new bands.
...It is like you have the best little amazing secret in the world and this treasure is all yours for a little while....
